My son Christopher has always been fascinated with bears. Thanks to him I have learned a lot about these highly intelligent and self aware creatures. Bears have been seen watching a sunset and obviously enjoying the beauty. They are truly altruistic and far from the brutes they are sometimes made out to be.

For thousands of years, Arabians lived among the desert tribes of the Arabian peninsula, bred by the Bedouins as war mounts for long treks and quick forays into enemy camps. In these harsh desert conditions evolved the Arabian with its large lung capacity and incredible endurance.

 

Meet our first Great Dane Duc. We adopted him while we were living in Vence, France. Duc was very special, a once in a lifetime friend.
